The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake was announced during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct and is being developed exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The ground-up remake is scheduled to launch in 2026, featuring rebuilt high-definition visuals, updated character models and improved performance while preserving the core gameplay of the Nintendo 64 classic.
