Once Human Console Comparison Highlights PS5 Pro Lead

by Salal Awan

A new Once Human PS5 vs Xbox comparison has highlighted the visual and performance differences between the game’s console versions ahead of its launch on August 25.

According to the comparison, Once Human includes three display modes across every console platform. Quality Mode improves several graphical settings, including level of detail, lighting, vegetation and water quality.

The Xbox Series S delivers the lowest visual settings of the console versions, with lighting showing the most noticeable reduction compared to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X.

The PS5 Pro stands out by offering more stable performance than the other consoles while also maintaining some higher-quality graphical settings in Performance Mode.

In terms of frame rate, the comparison shows that all console versions target 60 FPS in Quality Mode and 120 FPS in both Balanced and Performance modes.

Once Human launches for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on August 25, 2026. Developed and published by Starry Studio, the free-to-play multiplayer survival game places players in a post-apocalyptic world where they must explore, build bases and battle hostile creatures while managing survival mechanics.
