Capcom has announced that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy has surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide, marking another major sales milestone for the long-running courtroom adventure series.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy originally debuted on Nintendo 3DS in Japan in April 2014 before receiving a wider release later that year. Capcom subsequently released a remastered version with updated high-definition graphics and audio on modern platforms in April 2019.
The 2019 release launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Steam, followed by versions for iOS and Android. The compilation brings together the first three mainline Phoenix Wright games.
Ace Attorney Series Continues To Grow
The Ace Attorney franchise first launched on Game Boy Advance in 2001 and has since expanded with multiple mainline entries, spin-offs and remastered releases. The series includes titles such as The Great Ace Attorney and Ace Attorney Investigations.
Across the franchise, Ace Attorney had surpassed 12 million units sold globally by mid-2026. The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy has become the best-selling individual release in the series, helped by its availability across multiple platforms and regular digital sales.
The latest milestone means the compilation has now moved beyond its previous 4 million sales figure, further demonstrating the continued demand for Capcom’s courtroom-focused adventure games.
