PlayStation’s Forthcoming State Of Play Announcements Have Allegedly Been Leaked
Details regarding Sony Interactive Entertainment’s forthcoming State of Play presentation have allegedly been leaked.
According to Spanish Twitter/X insider LeakProximidad, who has correctly leaked information regarding other game announcements in the past, has shared cryptic hints regarding the alleged announcements that will occur during PlayStation’s State of Play presentation later today on May 30, 2024.
Their tweets state, ” Clashing dynasties in a story long told, Hunts, more players enjoying the adventures of a demigod, he adventures of the company’s mascot, adventures celebrating 10 years of a franchise, open worlds with an Asian feel, foggy villages, Marvel, Diablo’s competitor, film horror already announced, the new game from a studio specializing in VR, a new game I believe to be from a new Middle Eastern studio.”
Based on these hints, it appears that the following games are likely to be a part of the State of Play presentation:

- Path of Exile 2
- Monster Hunter: Wilds
- Silent Hill 2 Remake
- Phantom Blade Zero
- A new Astrobot’s game
- Marvel Rivals console version
- God of War Ragnarok PC version
- A new Five Nights At Freddy’s title
- A new Dynasty Warriors title
- Unknown game from a Middle Eastern game studio
- A new VR title

For the uninitiated, Sony Interactive Entertainment will host a State of Play presentation later today on May 30, 2024 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET | May 31 12am CEST / 7am JST on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. Those interested can tune in live for updates on PS5 and PS VR2 titles, plus a look at PlayStation Studios games arriving later this year. The presentation will span a duration of over 30 minutes, and will feature 14 titles.
During a recent episode of Giant Bomb’s Bombcast, Jeff Grubb, who is known for his sources within the game industry, had shared that he had heard about a PlayStation Showcase event or a State of Play presentation happening this month, and that it would prominently feature the Silent Hill 2 remake.
