Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl appear to have received an update on their visuals with slight tweaks based on some new screenshots.
Nintendo Japan had posted these new screenshots on their official website. They were discovered by a Japanese YouTube channel that shared the difference between the old version of the game and the new updated visuals and then posted to Twitter. You can have a look at the screenshots below.
The first screenshot is from February 2021 build while the second screenshot is from the May 2021 build. The difference is mostly subtle like changes to the color tone, foliage, and adjustments to the character model, but this shows that the visuals that we have seen so far are not final and we might get to see an updated form of them as the game launches later this year.
Pokémon Brillant Diamond and Shinning Pearl are remakes of the Nintendo DS Pokémon games that are being released for the Nintendo Switch. They will be followed by a brand new Pokémon game called Pokémon Legends Arceus which will be out in 2022.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl are set to arrive on November 19, 2021. They are also available in a double-pack bundle.
