Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves have appeared on Amazon Germany with a listed price of €79.99, according to a post shared by Nintendeal on social media.
The retailer listing has sparked discussion around Nintendo’s pricing strategy for upcoming Switch 2 titles. Several previously listed Switch 2 games carried the same €79.99 pricing in Germany before launching at $69.99 in the United States, suggesting the newly revealed Pokémon titles could follow the same pattern.
Nintendo has recently shifted toward separate pricing for digital and physical releases. Games such as Yoshi and the Mystery Book reportedly launched at $59.99 digitally while retail copies were priced at $69.99, indicating the company may continue using different price tiers depending on format rather than increasing standard US pricing further.
At the moment, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have not officially confirmed pricing details for Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves.
The upcoming role-playing games are currently in development at Game Freak for Nintendo Switch 2 and are expected to launch in late 2027. The titles are set in a tropical island region inspired by Southeast Asia and will introduce the franchise’s tenth generation of Pokémon. Nintendo is also expected to place a larger emphasis on open-world exploration, island traversal, and underwater environments in the new entries.
