Capcom has announced a demo for Resident Evil 3 Remake. Details including a release date will be shared later, as revealed by Capcom.
This brand new Remake is following in the footsteps of Resident Evil 2. The game will get a demo before it launches on April 4, but the timing of the demo hasn’t been disclosed as of yet.
Back when Resident Evil 2 was closer to launch, Capcom had released a limited time demo for the game. This demo had a restriction that it could only be played once for at least half an hour. This meant that those who wanted to get through the demo had to struggle with the time limit.
While Capcom hasn’t disclosed any details on the Resident Evil 3 Remake demo, they did promise that they will share information on it rather soon. Today is also the day when Capcom has dropped embargo on previews of the game by the press, so the demo announcement can happen shortly before the launch of the game.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is launching just after one and a half years of the release of Resident Evil 2. The second Resident Evil game was a major hit for Capcom, not only becoming the fastest-selling game in the series but also selling more than two million copies on Steam.
