Sony has announced new price increases for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in select regions beginning May 20, 2026.

According to a statement shared on PlayStation’s social media, the changes will affect new customers purchasing 1-month and 3-month subscription plans. Sony cited “ongoing market conditions” as the reason behind the updated pricing structure.

Under the revised rates, 1-month subscriptions will now start at $10.99 USD, €9.99 EUR, and £7.99 GBP. Meanwhile, 3-month subscriptions will begin at $27.99 USD, €27.99 EUR, and £21.99 GBP.

Sony clarified that the pricing adjustments will not affect existing subscribers unless their memberships lapse or they change their current subscription plans. The company noted that Turkey and India are exceptions, where current subscribers may also be affected by the pricing revisions.

The announcement does not currently mention changes to annual PlayStation Plus subscription pricing.

PlayStation Plus currently offers multiple membership tiers globally. In the United States, annual subscriptions are priced at $79.99 for Essential, $134.99 for Extra, and $159.99 for Premium. European pricing currently sits at €71.99, €125.99, and €151.99 respectively, while UK pricing stands at £59.99, £99.99, and £119.99.

In regions without cloud streaming support, Sony offers PlayStation Plus Deluxe instead, which includes most Premium benefits except streaming. Countries including Australia, India, and several Latin American territories currently use the Deluxe tier structure.
