New character and weapon skins for Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bungie’s extraction shooter, Marathon, have been leaked via an in-game survey.
Reddit user At4nkFish has shared concepts for new Marathon character and weapon skins that were discovered by some players via an in-game survey. It’s worth noting that surveys are user account dependent, which means they are sent out to players who meet certain criteria. In this case, the survey was likely sent to players who have spent a lot on microtranscations.

Bungie recently outlined its plans for the end of Season 1 while confirming that Season 2: NIGHTFALL will officially begin on June 2, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the studio revealed several gameplay updates, ranked rewards, and a full breakdown of what players will keep when the seasonal reset arrives.
Before Season 2 launches, Update 1.0.9 will introduce a series of changes designed to make the closing weeks of Season 1 more rewarding. Bungie said locked room keys will now be guaranteed drops from Wardens for the remainder of the season, while map events such as Intercept, Lockdown, Convoy, Anomaly, and Warden spawns will appear in every run. The developer also confirmed an increased UESC presence across Tau Ceti IV, including new Warden encounters, more dropship activity on Perimeter, and additional enemy threats on both Dire Marsh and Perimeter.
Cryo Archive will also become more accessible ahead of the seasonal reset. Starting May 21, the map will be available daily through June 2, and players will receive a free Cryo Archive Sponsored Kit in their mailbox each day during the event period. Bungie is also introducing Cryo Archive: Ranked, a limited-time ranked version of the mode available from May 24 at 10 AM PT until May 28 at 10 AM PT.
Marathon was released on March 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.
