Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Won’t Be at EA Play
EA has confirmed that they don’t have any announcements for Star Wars during the upcoming EA Play. They did tease them for the next year.
it is no secret that Respawn is working on a sequel to the critical and commercial hit, Jedi Fallen Order. They had job openings for a new IP as well. Aside from this, they have been working on churning out content for Apex Legends.
EA has now confirmed that the upcoming EA Play won’t include any news from the Star Wars IP. They are rumored to be working on Battlefront 3 and Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. These are the two games that are strongly hinted at so far, but these are not the only Star Wars games.
We won’t be showing any new Star Wars games at EA Play Live on July 22nd…but all of us look forward to celebrating with you next year when we share our vision for the Galaxy far, far away!

The tweet basically drops any hope of a new Star Wars game at EA Play, but it does hint that EA is cooking up something for the next year. We will have to wait and see to find out but one of these is the Jedi: Fallen Order sequel as per reports while the other is Battlefront 3.
Aside from Star Wars, Bioware has also confirmed that Mass Effect and Dragon Age won’t make it to EA Play so don’t expect to see them either.
EA Play will be held on July 22. It is the only major event confirmed for the middle of Summer after E3 2021. Sony had showcased their State of Play earlier but it was mostly limited to minor announcements from them.
