Bandai Namco has confirmed that the fourth and final DLC character for Tekken 8 Season 3 will be officially revealed during Combo Breaker 2026 later this month.
The announcement was shared by the official Tekken social media account, which stated that the reveal trailer will premiere before the start of the Tekken 8 Top 8 bracket at the Chicago-based fighting game event.
According to the announcement, the trailer is scheduled to debut around 6:00 AM JST on Monday, May 25.
The publisher has not revealed the identity of the final DLC fighter, though speculation within the fighting game community has continued to grow following the earlier additions planned for Season 3, including Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.
Tekken 8 Season 3 has already generated significant discussion among players due to its aggressive gameplay adjustments and large-scale balance overhaul. The update introduced more than 1,500 gameplay changes while continuing to emphasize offensive pressure through the game’s Heat System mechanics.
The balancing direction sparked criticism from parts of the competitive community, particularly on Steam, where some players argued defensive play had become increasingly difficult. Bandai Namco later responded with emergency balance patches and stated it would continue refining the game gradually over time.
Released on Unreal Engine 5, Tekken 8 serves as the latest entry in Bandai Namco’s long-running fighting franchise and continues the conflict between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima with a heavier focus on cinematic combat and offensive momentum systems.
