The Duskbloods closed network test is now available to pre-download for selected participants ahead of the test beginning on August 21. Players who were selected can obtain their download code through the Account page on the official Network Test website.
The test will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 and requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Participants were selected based on the order in which applications were submitted.
Nintendo previously confirmed that game data and download codes would be distributed from August 18 at 6:00 a.m. PDT. Selected players can download the test through the Nintendo Store or Nintendo eShop, although availability through the Nintendo Store may vary by region.
The Duskbloods Network Test Schedule
The closed network test will take place across five sessions between August 21 and August 23. The schedule is as follows:
- August 21, 2026, 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. PDT
- August 21, 2026, 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT
- August 22, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PDT
- August 23, 2026, 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. PDT
- August 23, 2026, 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT
The test is designed to evaluate the game’s servers and multiplayer systems while also allowing FromSoftware to gather gameplay balance data. Up to eight players can participate in each multiplayer match during the test.
Participants should also expect potential bugs and other issues, as the test uses a pre-release version of the game. Players must log into the Network Test Account page using the Nintendo Account originally connected to their application.
The Duskbloods is an upcoming multiplayer action game from FromSoftware and Nintendo for Nintendo Switch 2. Its gameplay combines player-versus-player and player-versus-environment elements, with up to eight players competing in matches while pursuing objectives and attempting to earn victory points.
Players take on the role of Bloodsworn warriors empowered by mysterious blood in a gothic end-of-days setting. The network test will give selected players an early opportunity to experience these multiplayer systems before the game’s full release.
The Duskbloods is currently scheduled to launch in 2026 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
