The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival Announced

by Greg Martin

TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media have announced The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, a new single-player beat-’em-up set in the universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead. The game is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a playable demo available now on Steam.

The upcoming title reimagines the television series’ All-Out War storyline, placing players in the middle of the conflict between Rick Grimes’ alliance and Negan’s brutal Saviors. Players will take control of several well-known survivors from the franchise, including Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne, as they battle their way through walkers, hostile human factions, and a variety of dangerous encounters.

According to the announcement, the campaign will revisit several recognizable locations from the series, including Alexandria, Hilltop, and the Sanctuary. These settings are presented through retro-inspired pixel art visuals and feature dynamic action sequences designed to recreate key moments from the conflict. Throughout the adventure, players will encounter both undead threats and human enemies while progressing through a story-driven campaign.

Combat focuses on fast-paced arcade action, allowing players to chain together melee attacks, ranged abilities, and powerful finishing moves. Each playable character comes equipped with signature weapons drawn from the television series, including Rick’s revolver, Michonne’s katana, and Daryl’s crossbow.

In addition to large groups of walkers, players will face several notable enemies and boss encounters. Fan-favorite walkers such as Winslow and the Well Walker are confirmed to appear, while major antagonists from the Saviors faction, including Negan and Simon, will feature in multi-stage boss battles designed to test players’ combat skills and adaptability.

The game also includes an arcade-style challenge structure intended to encourage repeat playthroughs. Players can master different character abilities across multiple difficulty settings, while an optional Easy Mode will be available for those looking for a more accessible experience.

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival does not yet have a release date, but TRAILMARK Games has confirmed it is coming to PC and consoles. Players interested in trying the game early can download the first playable demo on Steam starting today.

The announcement also marks the first project revealed by TRAILMARK Games, with the publisher indicating that additional announcements are planned in the near future.
