THQ Nordic has wrapped up its THQ Nordic Showcase 2026, delivering a packed presentation featuring new game announcements, release dates, downloadable content, Early Access updates and a major sale across Steam and consoles. The publisher also confirmed new projects from several of its studios while providing updates on existing titles across its portfolio.
The showcase began with REANIMAL: The Prisoner, the first of three planned DLC expansions for Tarsier Studios’ co-operative horror game. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, the expansion follows two new protagonists, The Soldier and The Prisoner, as they attempt to survive a war-torn world filled with new locations and dangers.
THQ Nordic also teased the next project from DigixArt, confirming the studio behind Road 96 is developing a new game set in the Road 96 universe, although no further details were shared. At the same time, Expeditions: Samurai entered Steam Early Access, taking players to feudal Japan for a tactical RPG adventure centred on combat, stealth and player-driven choices. The game is available for $29.99 with a limited-time launch discount through August 14.
Music fans also received new announcements, with Let’s Sing 2027 and Let’s Sing ABBA both confirmed for release on November 3. While Let’s Sing 2027 launches for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the updated ABBA edition returns with 32 songs and makes its Nintendo Switch 2 debut.
Action RPG Titan Quest II continues to expand in Early Access with the addition of the Spirit Mastery. The new class specialises in manipulating life and death through powerful spells and summoned allies, giving players another way to customise their builds.
Strategy fans also received a first look at The Guild – Europa 1410, a new medieval business simulation inspired by the original The Guild. Players will be able to establish businesses, build political influence and create a lasting family dynasty across medieval Europe.
Meanwhile, Call to Arms: Panzer Elite received a substantial Early Access update introducing two new American tanks, additional campaign missions and the conclusion of the German campaign. THQ Nordic confirmed that development will continue, with an updated roadmap planned for the future.
THQ Nordic also confirmed that Way of the Hunter 2 will leave Early Access and launch in full on September 29 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The hunting simulator features two expansive environments, licensed equipment from real-world manufacturers and additional post-launch content planned after release.
Platforming adventure The Eternal Life of Goldman also made an appearance with a new trailer highlighting its hand-drawn art style and animation. The game is set to launch for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and day one on Xbox Game Pass.
For racing fans, Wreckfest 2 continues to receive new content in Early Access, including additional vehicles, tracks, game modes and expanded vehicle customisation. While THQ Nordic stopped short of announcing a console release date, it confirmed more information will be shared once development progresses further.
The publisher also outlined the future of Gothic 1 Remake, revealing several free post-launch additions, including a Photo Mode, Marvin Mode developer tools, official mod support and alternative progression mechanics. THQ Nordic also hinted that more information about the franchise’s future could arrive during next year’s showcase.
Beyond the remake, the company announced Gothic: A Shadow’s Quest, a new board game launching its Gamefound campaign on September 30, before confirming that the Gothic Classic Trilogy is expanding to modern platforms. Gothic Classic is available now on PlayStation and Xbox, Gothic II Complete Classic arrives on September 29, while Gothic III Classic launches on November 24 and will also release for Nintendo Switch 2.
Outside of game announcements, THQ Nordic launched its annual Showcase Sale across Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. Running through August 14 on Steam, the promotion includes discounts on titles such as REANIMAL, Titan Quest II, Wreckfest 2, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, Darksiders and Gothic 1 Remake, with separate console promotions also available for a limited time.
