Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard has offered a brief update on Marvel’s Blade, praising Arkane Lyon’s progress on the upcoming action-adventure game.

Speaking about the project in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Howard said he was unable to share when fans can expect to see more of the title, but indicated development is progressing well behind the scenes.

“I’m not at liberty to say when [we’ll see more],” Howard said. “but I saw some stuff just yesterday [on May 21] and the folks at Arkane [Studios, the developers] are doing a really, really great job.”

Marvel’s Blade is currently in development at Arkane Lyon, the studio behind Dishonored and Deathloop. The game is being developed as a single-player, story-focused action-adventure experience and follows Eric Brooks, better known as Blade, as he battles vampires in Paris.

The title was absent from the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, leading some fans to wonder about its status. Howard’s latest comments suggest development remains on track, although neither Bethesda nor Arkane Lyon have announced when the game will next be shown publicly.
