Warhorse Studios, the developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has confirmed that unauthorized parties accessed its internal systems during a recent cyberattack. The studio is still investigating whether any personal information was compromised and says it will contact affected individuals once it establishes the full extent of the incident.

In an update published on October 30, Warhorse explained that the intrusion affected access to some of its internal systems and services. The investigation is being carried out with the help of cybersecurity experts and relevant authorities, with the studio working to determine what information may have been accessed.

Warhorse said it would directly notify anyone affected once the facts are established. It also confirmed that further updates will be shared as the investigation progresses, although the studio isn’t currently conducting interviews or providing additional comments.

The latest statement follows an initial confirmation on October 27, when Warhorse revealed that its systems and company data had been accessed without authorisation. At the time, CEO Martin Frývaldský described the incident as a serious matter for the studio and those affected.

“Our immediate priority is to secure our systems, establish the full extent of the breach, and take the necessary steps to protect our employees, partners, and community,” Frývaldský said in the earlier statement. He also said the studio was committing the necessary resources to address the incident and would provide further information when it could responsibly do so.

Warhorse Studios was founded in Prague in 2011 by Daniel Vávra and Martin Klíma. The studio gained international recognition with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, released in 2018, before being acquired by Koch Media, now known as PLAION, in 2019.
