The Xbox 25th Anniversary Edition price has reportedly been revealed ahead of Microsoft’s official announcement, with the limited-edition Xbox Series X expected to cost €899.99 in France and across Europe. The equivalent US price is expected to be $899.99, according to Dealabs leaker Billbil-kun.
The reported pricing would make the special edition considerably more expensive than the current Xbox Series X. Microsoft’s 1TB Xbox Series X with a disc drive is now priced at €799.99 in Europe after a price increase earlier in August 2026, meaning the reported X25 edition would carry a €100 premium.
That comparison also puts the limited-edition console at the same €899.99 price point as the PS5 Pro in Europe. The PS5 Pro offers twice the storage, although it does not include a disc drive.
The premium is also higher than what Sony charged for its 30th Anniversary Digital Edition of the PS5, which launched for only €50 more than the standard digital model. The reported Xbox 25th Anniversary Edition price does include the limited X25 controller and a disc drive, but the additional €100 could still make the console an expensive proposition.
According to the report, the Xbox Series X25 is scheduled to launch on Friday, November 27, 2026. That date falls on Black Friday, potentially giving Microsoft an opportunity to tie the anniversary hardware launch to one of the year’s biggest shopping periods.
The pre-order date has not yet been revealed. Dealabs says it will provide further information if details about the pre-order window become available.
