Xbox Game Pass January 2023 Lineup Reportedly Adding Shadow Warrior 3

The January, 2023 lineup for Xbox Game Pass reportedly includes Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior 3, based on the latest information.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are currently receiving a push notification from the Game Pass app saying, which states that Shadow Warrior 3 will be coming to the premium subscription service as part of the January, 2023 catalog update. The notification reads, “Scavenge a post-crash future in Stranded Deep or take on the smart-mouthed action of Shadow Warrior 3 now!”

Microsoft will soon be updating the list of games headed to Xbox Game Pass in wave 1 for the month of January, 2023, as well as the list of games that are leaving the service during this month. The subscription service is starting the month with plenty of games you can look forward to very soon.

Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In January 2023

While the full list of Game Pass Games for wave 1 of January, 2023 is not yet available, here is the updated list of games that have been confirmed thus far:

• Stranded Deep (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Shadow Warrior 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Shadow Warrior 3 is a first-person shooter developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital. The Shadow Warrior 2 (2016) sequel was released on March 1, 2022, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Like its predecessors, the game is a first-person shooter and the player assumes control of Lo Wang, the series protagonist. Wang has access to a sizable collection of weapons that can be used against opponents. He also uses a katana, which is only effective in close quarters battle. As the player advances through the game, they acquire new tools that help them in battle, all of which can be unlocked by the time the player reaches the campaign’s midpoint.
