A new rumour claims Microsoft is preparing to add 11 more titles to the Xbox Play Anywhere programme, expanding the growing list of games that support cross-platform ownership and progression across Xbox and Windows PC.
According to the rumour, the following games are expected to receive Xbox Play Anywhere support:
- Slain 2
- Wild Blue Skies
- Sprawl Zero
- Spyder: Agent 8
- Sublustrum
- Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked
- Alpha Nomos
- Wildering: The Lost Spring
- Bobo and the Chest of Nightmares
- Fountains
- Goblin Cleanup
Microsoft has not officially announced Xbox Play Anywhere support for any of these titles, so the information should be treated as a rumour until confirmed.
Xbox Play Anywhere allows players to buy a participating digital game once and play it across Xbox consoles and Windows PCs at no additional cost. The programme also supports cross-progression, automatically syncing save data, achievements, downloadable content and other in-game purchases across supported devices.
If the report proves accurate, the additions would further expand the Xbox Play Anywhere catalogue, giving players more titles that can be accessed across multiple platforms with a single purchase.
