Yakuza: Like a Dragon is confirmed to run at 4K/60 FPS on the Xbox Series X. The game is optimized for Microsoft’s next-generation console.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the first game in the series to feature dynamic RPG gameplay. It also stars a completely new protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, and it is set in the streets of Yokohama, Japan. This the seventh game in the series but the developers have opted to change the title since this one makes some fundamental gameplay changes.
According to the official Microsoft Store, the game will run at 4K and 60 FPS+ on the Xbox Series X. Since Microsoft has stated that for Series S, the developers will target 1440, so the game might run at 60 FPS+ on the Xbox Series S as well, just at a lower resolution.
There are three different editions of Yakuza: Like a Dragon available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store. They are the Standard, Hero, and Legendary Hero Edition. They will cost $59.99, $69.99, and $89.99 respectively.
The digital pre-order of the game offers The Legends Costume Set DLC. Hero Edition offers Job Set and Management Mode Set DLC. While the Legendary Hero edition includes Job Set, Crafting Mat Set, Management Mode Set, Karaoke Set, Ultimate Costume Set, and Stat Boost Set DLC.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will also release for the PS5 but at a later date. Sega has shared some gameplay footage from the PS5 version and confirmed that it will release on March 2, 2020. The game will be available on the launch of the Xbox Series X where it can be played at 4K and 60 FPS.
