Activision Has Nothing To Share On Call of Duty 2019, Series Has Sold Over 300 Million Copies

There has been no update on Call of Duty 2019 so far from Activision. Call of Duty is one of the most popular first-person shooters and there is a new game every year. As a result, the total lifetime sales of the franchise now stand at over 300 million, which is an impressive number overall.

Activision recently shared their fiscal year results for the last year and later held a call with investors. During this segment, they revealed some information on the future of Call of Duty series.

Call of Duty 2019 hasn’t been announced yet even though it was traditionally shown before E3 begins every year. This time, the announcement or teasers haven’t started yet for the series even though we know that Call of Duty 2019 will be developed by Infinity Ward. There are rumors of the game launching alongside a remake for Modern Warfare 2, but it is not confirmed officially by Activision.

Niko Partners Analyst Daniel Ahmad has shared some important highlights from the conference call held by Activision. We learn that Call of Duty franchise lifetime sales is now over 300 million making it one of the top-selling videos of all time.

Activision also didn’t disclose any information on a potential new Call of Duty 2019, but Infinity Ward, who previously worked on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, is already confirmed to be working on a new Call of Duty game for later this year, so it is just a matter of waiting for an official confirmation from Activision. They are excited about the next Call of Duty and can’t wait to show it to others.

Call of Duty 2019 will be apparently revealed before the end of the quarter, so it will be announced before June 30th. They also see the potential in a mobile Call of Duty game.
