Blizzard On Diablo IV Release Date: “We Are Not Coming Anytime Soon”

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed Diablo IV, a brand new mainline entry in the classic loot-based RPG. They are not ready to reveal a release date yet.

Diablo IV is a brand new mainline game that will follow the dark and gritty art style in the second game instead of the one featured in its predecessor. It was revealed during BlizzCon 2019 along with the confirmation of three classes.

After the announcement and during a live panel called Diablo IV: Unveiled, Blizzard has talked about the release date. The game director Luis, senior producer Tiffany Watt, and art director John Mueller were present during the live panel.

They gave the following comment when asked about the possibility of the game launching soon. “We are not coming anytime soon, not even Blizzard soon, ” said the devs regarding the Diablo IV release date.

Diablo 4 announced was made during BlizzCon 2019 this week. In addition to a lengthy cinematic trailer, Blizzard also had a gameplay trailer prepared for this moment.

“Sanctuary has been a home to Diablo players for more than 20 years, and it’s with our own deep passion for the series and a deep appreciation of the community that we announce Diablo IV today,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re excited to be returning to the dark, quintessential Diablo gameplay that players love while expanding the world and story in new ways, and we can’t wait for more people to be able to experience it.”

The game is confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, and PC although no release date has been confirmed for it.
