Deathloop PC Mouse Stuttering Issue Resolved With An Update

by Salal Awan

Bethesda Softworks and Arkane have shared an update for Deathloop on PC for the infamous mouse stuttering claiming that it has been resolved.

Deathloop players were complaining about the game stuttering on PC and it was equated to the Denuvo DRM, but this problem was wider than a simple DRM implementation.

Today, an update was released for the PC version. Bethesda shared information on this update on Steam in which they reported that this will resolve the mouse stuttering issue on PC.

  • This hotfix addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of “stutter.”

Bethesda also shared a statement that confirmed that they are looking into the other types of stuttering that are being reported by players on PC.

“Additionally, we are looking into a separate, but related issue that we have identified as a factor that may also be a cause of stuttering at high framerates. We will update further on this as soon as we have more information.”

Deathloop started with a mixed reviews average due to the DRM implementation, but this has now changed to mostly positive on Steam after the post-launch updates resolved some of these issues. The game is also available on PS5 where it is a timed console exclusive for one year.
