Halo Infinite Campaign Details Could Be Revealed Soon – Report

Halo Infinite might have received a lot of positive reactions after the multiplayer beta test, but still, no info was shared on the campaign.

Microsoft and 343 Industries have been reluctant to show gameplay footage from the campaign. We did get a glimpse from the main campaign in the form of cutscenes, but the gameplay footage has been missing in action since the reveal last year which was heavily criticized and led to the birth of the Craig the Brute meme.

Popular leaker and trusted industry insider Tom Henderson has now suggested that we might finally get a campaign showcase for Halo Infinite.

The game was originally set to launch last Holiday but it was pushed to Fall 2021. It will be released on December 8, 2021, now. The main campaign is separate from the multiplayer, which is free-to-play at launch. Both of these will be available beginning December 8th and also arrive on the same day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

The multiplayer has been confirmed to ditch loot boxes and microtransactions and will instead focus on a battle pass type of progression system. This method is pretty popular in most modern FPS games from Fortnite to Apex Legends and so on.

The game will be released for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. The closed beta test that was held recently confirmed that it will run at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X, and 120 on the Xbox Series S and X.
