Elden Ring Delayed To February, Closed Network Test Announced

Elden Ring was recently seen in action through a leaked gameplay video. The game has been delayed to February and a Closed Beta test was announced.

Elden Ring was supposed to arrive on January 19 but just ahead of the new year, From Software has announced a month-long delay for the game. It is now pushed to February 25, 2022, which is the same month as Horizon Forbidden West.

“ELDEN RING will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations, ” reads the message. “Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.”

While this might be bad news for those who were eagerly anticipating the game, there is some silver lining with the announcement of a closed beta test. It will require you to register before November 1st, so the clock is ticking.
