Mario and Sonic at Olympic Games 2020 For Nintendo Switch and More Announced by Sega

Sega had a lot to announce today for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. They have revealed a new Mario and Sonic game, a Sonic game for Tokyo Olympics 2020, and a regular Olympic Sports game.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games 2020 will be out in time for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020. This is a series that began all the way back in 2012 with the London Olympics and then has continued since then with every new platform. Sega has released it for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, and now it will be finally out for the Nintendo Switch.

There were no official details revealed for this new project aside from a single screenshot and the confirmation that this is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. The game will also make use of Joy-Con controllers.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games will also release for the Arcades in Japan. It will offer events based on the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and feature physical motion such as running and jumping, as well as accurate button controls.

Sonic at the Olympic Games is releasing in 2020 for the iOS and Android platform. It will offer games with simple controls, and explore unique social features.

Lastly, there is an official Olympic game releasing from Sega for all platforms. This will let you create your own avatar and compete with others around the world, so it feels like an online multiplayer focused game.
