Bioware has released the launch trailer for Anthem today that shows a glimpse of this exciting new world which is full of danger.
Anthem is an upcoming multiplayer third-person shooter from Bioware. The game recently had a VIP demo that was followed up with an Open beta. Bioware confirmed live events in Anthem and also shared a roadmap for the post-launch content that they have planned for the game ahead of the launch.
Now that we are getting closer to the release of Anthem, they have shared the official launch trailer for the game today. This trailer is full of exciting action sequences.
The game offers multiplayer co-op for up to four players. The main characters are referenced as Freelancers in the world of Anthem and they can wear giant exosuits called Javelins. There are four different classes of Javelins with each offering their own unique abilities and damage types. You can switch between them at any point during the game.
Anthem seems to resemble a lot of characteristics that made Destiny a breakout success but since it is a brand new IP, it will have an uphill battle to climb against Destiny which had a headstart due to launching earlier this console generation.
It will be available on February 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want early access to the full game, you can grab EA Access for Xbox One, or Origin Access for PC, and then enjoy playing the game early on February 22, or almost a week before the release date.
