Assassin’s Creed Shadows Cover Art Leak Confirms Dual Protagonists

The cover art for Ubisoft’s next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, titled Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has been leaked online, and it confirms that the game will feature dual protagonists.

In addition to the cover art leak, new information regarding the storyline in Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been revealed by YouTuber j0nathan, who had previously shared leaked details regarding Assassin’s Creed Mirage prior to its announcement.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Character & Story Details

According to j0nathan, one of Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ two protagonists is called Yasuke. The game starts off as him being a slave on a ship. The ship is then assaulted by a group of pirates, leading to everyone, including his wife, getting killed. Yasuke is also wounded and left to die for several days before he’s found and brought to a temple in Japan. It’s here that he learns about the samurai while in the service of Oda Nobunaga. The leaker mentioned that the other character is called Naoe. A member of the Order will assassinate her family, which pushes her to become part of the Shinobi/Assassins.

Details on Season Pass & DLC Pricing

Based on j0nathan’s information, the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will cost $39.99 and the Welcome Pack will cost $34.99. Additionally, both Expansion 1 and 2 will be priced at – $24.99 each. As for currency packs that provide the in-game currency known as Helix, 500 Helix will be available for purchase for $4.99, 1050 Helix for $9.99, 2300 Helix for $19.99, and 4200 Helix for $34.99.

Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is now named Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game is currently set to debut during Ubisoft’s upcoming showcase. A cinematic trailer is planned to debut tomorrow on May 15, and it will reveal the game’s release date.
