Several scenes reportedly included in Avengers: Endgame Encore have leaked online, revealing major spoilers involving Loki, Doctor Doom, Bruce Banner and the TVA. The Encore edition is set to return to participating cinemas from September 24, 2026, with additional footage intended to bridge the story towards Avengers: Doomsday.
According to the leaked details, one new scene takes place after Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s final dance. Rather than immediately cutting to the credits, there is a knock at the door. Peggy answers it and finds Loki, who tells her and Steve that he can help them. The scene then cuts to the credits.
A mid-credits scene reportedly focuses on Bruce Banner, who is being held in an underground military facility. Banner records a video explaining that he recently experienced his first incident in more than a decade and has chosen isolation to prevent the Hulk from escaping again. He then discusses an experimental gamma radiation suppressor before the facility loses power.
Banner asks who is there, after which Doctor Doom’s voice is heard saying, “Dr. Banner, I’m here to collect you.” Banner subsequently transforms into the Hulk as the camera falls to the ground. The room is then illuminated by green Latverian symbols before the scene cuts to black.
Another reported addition changes the meaning of the sounds heard during the original Avengers: Endgame credits. The familiar hammering sounds are now accompanied by flashes showing Doctor Doom apparently constructing his mask.
The reported end-credits scene moves to the TVA, where Miss Minutes explains that the organisation’s role is to keep universes separated and prevent individuals from travelling between them. Mobius then joins Casey and learns that Universes 10005 and 1127 are approaching a collision.
The situation rapidly escalates as Casey detects missiles being launched between the two Earths. OB explains that the universes are attempting to destroy one another before they collide, while TVA personnel begin reporting additional universes undergoing the same process.
Among the universes reportedly shown as destroyed are Earth-400083, identified as the Eric Bana Hulk universe, Earth-15886, identified as the 2015 Fantastic Four universe, and Earth-82111, associated with What If…? Captain Carter. OB ultimately says, “The Multiverse is collapsing.”
Avengers: Endgame Encore is a special theatrical re-release of the 2019 film, featuring a remastered presentation, adjusted colour grading and additional material intended to connect the film with Avengers: Doomsday. The standard version reportedly runs for 183 minutes, while premium presentations can reach 186 minutes because of additional sneak peek footage.
Early preview screenings are scheduled to begin on September 24, 2026, with the Encore edition releasing globally in participating cinemas, including IMAX and other premium large-format screens.
