EA Sports FC 27 version 1.0.1 is now live, addressing a small number of issues across Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Gameplay, and general stability. The update also makes limited changes to Authentic Gameplay and fatigue in The Grounds.
The update does not significantly change gameplay balance or tuning, with EA aiming to preserve the Early Access and launch gameplay tuning while players continue to learn and adapt.
Patch Notes
Ultimate Team
- Fixed an issue where selecting a Player Item that did not meet the requirements of the Filter Evolutions By Player option could make parts of the user interface unresponsive.
The Grounds
- Fixed an issue preventing players from performing 5 Star Skill Moves during Street Football matches when their Avatar had the appropriate skill level unlocked and equipped.
- Fixed an issue where players could sometimes be unable to join matches using Hot Join.
- Fixed an issue where players could sometimes experience unexpectedly high ping in League Matches.
Gameplay
- Increased the default Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed slider values moderately in Authentic Gameplay.
- The Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed changes only apply to Authentic Gameplay in Career Mode and Kick Off.
- The Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed changes do not affect Competitive Gameplay.
- Increased the impact of fatigue on long-term player stamina in The Grounds 11v11 matches.
- Fixed an issue where players using a custom controller preset could be unable to perform their intended inputs.
General, Audio, and Visual
- Fixed various stability issues.
- Fixed an issue on Nintendo Switch where players could be unable to use installed DLC commentary audio languages.
- Fixed visual issues that could appear in the main menu on PS5.
EA Sports FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25, 2026, on the platforms supported by the game, with Early Access beginning on September 18, 2026. The developer and publisher are EA Sports and Electronic Arts, respectively, and version 1.0.1 is now available.
