Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Launch Maps Revealed To Be Remastered From The Original MW2

All launch maps in Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 have been revealed to be remastered versions of maps from the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

According to the latest round of leaks for the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, all the launch maps featured in the game are remastered versions of maps found in 2009’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Additionally, it was revealed that player health in the multiplayer mode would be higher by 150% compared to 2022’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Red dots on the minimap, map voting, and the Stalker perk will all be making a return in Modern Warfare 3. Also, the Tactical sprint will now recharge during regularly sprinting.

Previously, the list of weapons featured in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 were also leaked. The leak came via a recent datamine, which had extracted IDs for weapons from the Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, Marksman Rifles, Machine Guns, Handguns, Shotguns, Sub-Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, and Lethal classes.

Additionally, a batch of leaked screenshots for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 had revealed details regarding the game’s weapons. The leaked alpha screenshots came from Twitter account TaskForceLimg, though they had later been taken down. However, they were available long enough for details regarding the weapons featured in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 to be extracted.

It was confirmed that weapon blueprints will be making a return in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Additionally, scrapped content from Call of Duty Vanguard will be making its way into the upcoming Call of Duty installment. ADS attachment penalties found in Modern Warfare II have been reduced.
