New Chrono Trigger figures have been spotted at a Square Enix pop-up store in Ikebukuro, offering fans a closer look at upcoming merchandise based on the classic RPG.

Images shared by attendees show fully painted Form-ism figures of Crono and Marle on display. According to posts circulating online, the figures are being showcased publicly for the first time in their completed form, following earlier previews that appeared in an unpainted state roughly two months ago.

The display has led to speculation that official pre-orders may be announced soon, though Square Enix has not yet confirmed a timeline. The figures appear to stay faithful to the original character designs, capturing the distinct art style associated with the game.

The reveal has also drawn some attention due to ongoing rumors surrounding a potential Chrono Trigger remake, with some suggesting the figures could hint at a visual direction. However, no official connection has been established.

Originally released in 1995 for the Super Nintendo, Chrono Trigger remains one of the most influential role-playing games of its era. Developed by a team that included creators from Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, along with artist Akira Toriyama, the game follows Crono and his companions as they travel across time to prevent a global catastrophe.
