Concrete Genie Review Embargo Date Has Been Revealed

Concrete Genie is an upcoming PS4 exclusive which is developed by PixelOpus. The game will get its reviews on October 8th which is its launch day.

Sony hasn’t made any big marketing push for the game despite the fact that Concrete Genie will launch on October 8th. Even the review embargo has been set for the launch day, which doesn’t show much confidence from them. If the game gets some critical praise, it will help in getting the word of mouth out for it.

Concrete Genie review embargo is reportedly set for October 8th at 12 AM PT. Usually, Sony has given a review embargo that can be days away from the launch if they are sure the game will get good reviews and use it to start a new marketing push leading closer to launch of the game.

Concrete Genie joins MediEvil as two of the first-party exclusives that will launch for the PS4 later this month. Both of these are also budget-priced games and will retail for $29.99. The price of Concrete Genie along with its release date was confirmed during a State of Play Presentation by Sony. The same was the case with MediEvil which is priced at $29.99.

The game also offers support for the PSVR. It is one of the first-party exclusives that will offer PSVR support along with the upcoming Iron Man VR.
