Crimson Desert Update 1.07.00 Adds Boss Rematches and New Combat Skills

Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert update 1.07.00 across most platforms, introducing new boss rematches, additional unarmed combat skills, and a large collection of gameplay fixes and improvements. The patch also expands mount options while addressing quest progression issues, combat bugs, and UI inconsistencies.

One of the bigger additions in this update is the expansion of Damiane’s unarmed combat abilities, alongside new combat moves for Oongka and Kliff. Several stability fixes and quality-of-life improvements have also been included, particularly for mounts, quests, animations, and graphical stability.

  • Added additional bosses that can be challenged again in rematches
  • Added new unarmed combat skills for Damiane
  • Added “Aerial Stab” skill for Damiane and Oongka
  • Added “Blinding Flash Finisher” for Kliff’s unarmed combat
  • Added additional wolf and bear mount types
  • Added reins for certain mounts

Content

  • Fixed an issue where the “Elegant Carmine Leather Armor” appeared incorrectly
  • Fixed progression issues involving “Faces on the Bounty Notice” if Ulzok’s bounty notice was obtained early
  • Improved visual effects for “Champion’s Plate Gloves”
  • Fixed the “Eastern Witch’s Fan” disappearing when extracted
  • Fixed Kuku Bird Eggs occasionally disappearing from nests
  • Fixed abnormal NPC appearances at the Saltroad Trading Post
  • Fixed progression issues with “Check the honey quality at the Pollengarth Apiary” during “Ugmon’s Request”
  • Fixed tokens disappearing during the “Protectors of the Abyss” quest if players moved too far away
  • Fixed “Plentiful Greeting” failing to progress despite meeting requirements
  • Fixed floppy-eared bulldogs being unable to equip the “Sigil of Valor”
  • Fixed Ibexes being unable to be sold to fences
  • Fixed mission progression issues caused by disbanding comrades after moving to mission locations
  • Fixed legendary mounts failing to summon when switching to Kliff in certain situations
  • Fixed the A.T.A.G. failing to summon in certain situations
  • Fixed the A.T.A.G. occasionally not appearing in the hangar
  • Increased the number of animals usable as mounts throughout the world

Controls

  • Fixed eating animations not canceling correctly during other actions while unarmed on Easy and Normal difficulties
  • Fixed interaction issues with the coil pillar handwheel from certain angles

Combat / Action

  • Added a charge phase to Oongka’s Explosive Strike
  • Improved chaining into “Stab” while dual-wielding as Oongka
  • Improved Damiane’s general unarmed movement animations
  • Improved unarmed attacks and skills to properly hit grounded enemies

UI

  • Fixed the “Sword of Starlight” icon displaying incorrectly
  • Fixed controller key guides incorrectly showing keyboard and mouse inputs

Graphics & Settings

  • Fixed a GPU crash issue affecting AMD driver version 26.5.1

Localization

  • Fixed multiple localization issues
  • Improved localization quality across all supported languages

Other Fixes

  • Fixed two-handed sword sheaths displaying incorrectly when using a one-handed sword and shield
  • Fixed horse equipment disappearing in certain situations
  • Fixed lions, tigers, and large wolves falling over after every hit
  • Fixed players performing other actions while attacking on horseback
  • Fixed flickering issues with two-handed cannons while sliding
  • Fixed excessive gliding distance during jump attacks with sword-and-shield setups
  • Applied additional fixes and improvements for specific bosses
  • Fixed Blackstar’s health failing to recover after retrying or giving up during “Deferred Advance”

Crimson Desert launched on March 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, and macOS. Developed and published by Pearl Abyss, the open-world action-adventure game follows mercenary Kliff across the fantasy continent of Pywel with a focus on combo-driven combat and large-scale exploration.
