Dead Space Developers Have More Plans for Series Expansion
EA Motive, the developer behind the Dead Space remake, has revealed that it has further plans for the expansion of the series.
Speaking during an interview, EA Motive‘s senior producer Phil Ducharme and creative director Roman Campos-Oriola discussed plan to further expand the Dead Space series.
In response to a question that asked whether the studio had any idea what it could do with the Dead Space series next, Ducharme stated that the development team hopes to take the series further. There’s interest on his side as well as on Roman’s side in exploring the Dead Space series more. The studio has ideas for where the series could go next.
However, for now, EA Motive is busy making sure that the launch of the Dead Space remake goes well and that there are as few technical issues as possible. The studio is then going to be heading out on vacation. Once that’s done, the development team will sit down and discuss what comes next for the series.
Previously, it was reported that update 1.003 for the Dead Space has been released. The update is said to have addressed the graphical bugs that have been affecting the game on various platforms. The update is now available for download on PC and PS5, with an Xbox release expected later this week. The update should resolve any visual issues players have been encountering. The Dead Space remake had previously been plagued with graphical issues, including blurry image quality and text, on all platforms. Although the issue was more prominent on the PS5, it was also present on other platforms.
