Edge Magazine has released their latest issue covering a wide range of new games. The review scores for these games are now available to view in addition to their scores.
Edge is one of the leading game magazines and they are also known to be a harsh critic of video games. They usually review games a little late compared to the other critics. In the case of their most recent issue, they have covered some of the most recent releases like Super Mario Maker 2 and Samurai Shodown.
Here is an overview of the review scores from Edge Issue#335 which is available now. The focus of this issue is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which is due out later this year. They use a 10 points scale to score their games and if you want to read why they have given a particular score, you should check out their printed or digital version of the magazine.
Edge Magazine gave the first Super Mario Maker a review score of 9, while the sequel seems to have received a slightly lower score. It is available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
Samurai Shodown is a reboot of the franchise by SNK which was released on the current generation consoles. It appears to have been reviewed well by Edge Magazine. The rest of the new releases like The Sinking City and Sea of Solitude didn’t fare that well and received harsh scores. My Friend Pedro and Cadence of Hyrule are both indie games that have been released on the Nintendo Switch.
