A24’s live-action movie adaptation of Elden Ring has finished filming, according to an Instagram post from a production crew member.
Propmaker Sean Schofield, who describes himself as working across film and television productions including projects for A24, Lucasfilm, Netflix and HBO, posted that work on the film had come to an end after six months of production.
“Dream job to end all dream jobs. 6 solid months of blood, sweat and tears making the coolest stuff ever, working alongside the best of the best. Can’t share anything else for a very long time, but I couldn’t be more proud of what we did. See you in the Lands Between on March 3rd, 2028!”
The live-action Elden Ring film is written and directed by Alex Garland and is being produced by A24 and Bandai Namco. Based on FromSoftware’s acclaimed action RPG, the adaptation stars Kit Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Ben Whishaw and Nick Offerman, with George R.R. Martin serving as a producer.
Elden Ring movie is currently scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 3, 2028.
