Details regarding the review embargo for Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games’ racing game, Forza Horizon 6, have been revealed.
Fans of the series will soon be able to find out what critics have to say about Forza Horizon 6. The upcoming title puts players in a fictionalized representation of Japan that features a stylized version of Tokyo. It is said to be five times larger than the cities in prior entries. Players will begin as a tourist and work their way up to qualify for the Horizon Festival, and make it through its ranks.
What Is the Review Embargo Date for Forza Horizon 6?
According to content creator Stallion83, the review embargo for Forza Horizon 6 is set to be lifted on May 14, 2026, at 5 AM PST / 8 AM EST / 2 PM CET, a day before the game’s early access launch on May 15, 2026, and 5 days before the official release date on May 19, 2026.
Additionally, the pre-load for Forza Horizon 6 is now live on Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Microsoft Store/App), with massive file sizes of over 135GB on Xbox and 160GB on PC.
