Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.30 Is Out, Here Are The Patch Notes

Polyphony Digital has released a surprise update 1.30 for Gran Turismo 7 today that attempts to patch some multiplayer issues as seen in patch notes.

One of the most significant changes is the fix for the problem in which the cars of other players would not appear when exiting the pit on Grand Valley – Highway 1. This bug confused and made it difficult for players to gauge the competition’s position during the race. The update now ensures that all vehicles are visible on the track, providing a fairer and more enjoyable experience.

Additionally, the update addresses another issue in the Lobby mode, where the camera would not work correctly when using the Spectator function. This fix will make it easier for players to view other racers’ gameplay and gain a better understanding of their techniques and strategies.

It is the eighth main installment in the Gran Turismo series and the first one to be released on PS5. The game aims to deliver a realistic and immersive driving experience that appeals to both casual and hardcore racing fans.

The game features a variety of cars and tracks from different eras and regions, ranging from classic sports cars to modern supercars, and from city streets to mountain roads. Additionally, the game includes some iconic tracks from previous Gran Turismo games, such as Trial Mountain and High Speed Ring. Gran Turismo 7 boasts a large car list of over 400 vehicles, with more expected to be added through updates.
