GTA Online Leak Suggests Rockstar Is Bringing Cut Content From Canceled 2020 Update

A new leak for GTA Online suggests that Rockstar is bringing back cut content from 2020’s canceled Cops and Crooks update.

A well known GTA leaker known as Alloc8or on the GTA forums has revealed that Rockstar is planning on bringing back some cut content, including weapons, from 2020’s infamous Cops and Crooks update.

According to the leaker, some of the cut content that will make its way into GTA Online can be see below.

  • Around 50 new vehicle slots
  • The “Juggalo Hideout” has a Vehicle Workshop
  • Cops and Crooks weapons:
    • Police Rifle
    • Riot SMG
    • Special version of Stun Gun, specifically for Cops and Crooks
    • Baton
  • Mission themes:
    • Cargo Plane
    • Hippy Rivals
    • Rescuing your cook
    • Something with chemicals, possibly explosive
    • Train Crash
  • New collectible:
    • Snowman

Previously, the contents features included in the upcoming Winter DLC for Rockstar’s GTA Online were leaked via a data mine. Twitter user Gaming Detective shared some keywords found in the GTA Online code, hinting at the potential contents and features to be added in the forthcoming Winter DLC.

One of the prominent new features is a brand new fast travel system. The DLC also seems to include new dead drop collectibles, and a new property that introduces a character called Dax. It’s also possible that Wade from GTA V will also make a return.

Grand Theft Auto Online is an online multiplayer action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on October 1, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014, for Windows (PC) on April 14, 2015, and for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15, 2022. It is included as part of Grand Theft Auto V and also available standalone. Grand Theft Auto Online allows up to 30 players to explore its open world environment and participate in cooperative or competitive games. The game is set in the fictional state of San Andreas, which is based on Southern California.
