Marketing for Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world action-adventure game, GTA VI, is now in full swing, as a car exhibition has emerged in the city of Miami.
Instagram user andrewblakeames (via WillMacGTA and videotech on Twitter/X) has shared a video clip showing a GTA VI themed car showcase taking place in Miami, with vehicles featuring Vice City Leonida license plates. A VCPD Lamborghini is also present among the cars.

During a recent debate over a proposed promotional partnership between Rockstar Games and local government officials in Florida, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rene Garcia revealed that GTA VI has a marketing budget of at least 150 million US Dollars. He raised concerns about the proposed agreement, questioning why the county had negotiated a deal worth less than 1 million US Dollars when the developer was spending much more on marketing. “[I’ve] done some research, and at least a minimum of $150 million, [Rockstar Games is] spending on marketing,” he said.
The controversy focused on a 975,000 US Dollars agreement for a “Welcome to Vice City” sign on the roof of Miami’s Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat. The promotional display is expected to receive exposure through NBA broadcasts and social media. However, some county commissioners have opposed the marketing initiative, arguing that GTA VI’s portrayal of violence, crime and corruption conflicts with county policies restricting certain types of advertising.
Last month, content creator Joel Franco shared pictures of an aerial view of GTA VI promotional signage being prepared for marketing in Downtown Miami. More details here.
GTA VI is set for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
