Xbox Game Studios and Halo Studios’ upcoming first-person shooter, Halo: Campaign Evolved, is currently a top-selling pre-order on the PlayStation Store.
The Premium Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved has taken the #3 spot in the pre-orders section of the US PlayStation Store, putting it ahead of the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Marvel’s Wolverine, and EA Sports Madden NFL 27. The upcoming first-person shooter is only trailing behind the juggernaut known as GTA VI.

PlayStation users appear to be excited about getting to play the very first Halo title on the platform, which also happens to be a remake of the first entry in the long-running series. Developer Halo Studios recently confirmed that Halo: Campaign Evolved has officially gone gold ahead of its release later this month. The announcement was made through the official Halo account on X, which posted: “#HaloCE is OFFICIALLY GOLD and Early Access begins on July 23.”
Halo: Campaign Evolved releases on July 28, 2026, for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Premium Edition buyers with Early Access will be able to begin playing on July 23, 2026, five days ahead of the full launch. Master Chief’s battle against the Covenant on the iconic Halo ringworld is rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. The remake introduces expanded weapon options, redesigned levels and three brand-new prequel missions to the original campaign.
