Bethesda Game Studios and MachineGames’ action-adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, has become a top-selling pre-order on the PlayStation Store.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is this week’s top-selling pre-order on PlayStation Network across major store regions, including the US, Canada, UK, and Germany. The game has also appeared among the top 6 in the list of best-selling pre-orders in Japan, Hong Kong, and UAE.
This doesn’t come as particularly surprising, given how there is a large market for single-player action-adventure titles on the PS5. The Uncharted series, which took inspiration from the Indiana Jones franchise, is known to be popular among the PlayStation player base, and a similar game would be expected to perform well on the platform. In several PlayStation Store regions, it’s the more expensive Premium Edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with a price tag of $99.99 US Dollars, that is leading pre-order charts. It’s especially impressive considering how this isn’t a day one release, as the Xbox Series X|S and PC versions of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle were released on December 9, 2024.
On Steam, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle reached an all-time peak concurrent player count of 12,138, suggesting that it didn’t sell as well as it likely already has on the PlayStation Store.
Microsoft’s other upcoming PS5 release, Forza Horizon 5, is also among the top 5 pre-orders across major PlayStation Store regions. Much like action-adventure titles, there is a large market for racing games on the platform, given the success of the Gran Turismo series.
The PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set for release on April 17, 2025. The game’s Premium Edition will grant buyers a 2-day early access, starting April 15, 2025. It will come with The Order of Giants Story DLC, a digital artbook, and a Temple of Doom outfit.
