Luigi’s Mansion 3 Release Date Set For This October

Nintendo has shared the release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3 which is now due out on this Halloween. It is the third game in the Luigi’s Mansion series after the last two were released for the Nintendo 3DS.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will offer a new location in the form of a large hotel. It takes a different approach to game design than the second Luigi’s Mansion, which divided the game into various levels. In this game, there is an open-ended structure similar to the first Luigi’s Mansion where players are able to explore the various floors of their hotel.

The game was first rumored to launch in October however the release date was not accurate. As Nintendo has confirmed today, the game will launch on October 31, 2019, which makes it just in time for Halloween. To celebrate this announcement, Nintendo has shared a new trailer for Luigi’s Mansion 3 advertising the release date along with it.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will launch after the Nintendo Switch Lite and the new hardware revision for the regular Nintendo Switch. It will be the last major release before the launch of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield later this fall.

The game also offers local co-op with the new Gooigi gameplay system. There will be new gadgets and abilities to practice along with the new game. It will be out on October 31, 2019, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
