Marvel Rivals Adds High and Low Resolution Texture Pack Support

by Ali Haider

NetEase Games has introduced a new High/Low-Resolution Resource Pack feature for Marvel Rivals on Steam. The update allows players to choose between high-resolution and low-resolution texture packs depending on their storage space, hardware performance, and visual preferences.

The new feature uses Steam’s DLC system to manage texture pack selection. Players can now reduce the game’s installation size by switching to the low-resolution resource pack, though some visual quality may be affected in certain situations.

New Feature

High and Low-Resolution Resource Packs

  • Added support for selectable high-resolution and low-resolution resource packs on Steam
  • High-resolution resource packs are enabled through downloadable DLC
  • Low-resolution resource packs reduce overall installation size
  • Visual fidelity may be reduced when using the low-resolution pack
  • Players must update Marvel Rivals to the latest version to use the feature properly

Steam Instructions

  • High-resolution resource packs are enabled by default during initial downloads
  • Players can disable the DLC through Steam Properties to switch to the low-resolution pack
