Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Gets PC Performance Update

by Ali Haider

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is scheduled to go offline temporarily for maintenance today, August 10, with Arc System Works and Sony Interactive Entertainment preparing an update focused on PC performance and stability. The maintenance will begin at 10 PM JST, or 6 AM PT and 1 PM UTC, and is expected to end at 12 AM JST, 8 AM PT and 3 PM UTC.

The developers announced that the update will include several PC-focused improvements, including reduced lag and fixes for frame drops. Players have been advised to complete any active matches before the maintenance begins.

The maintenance comes shortly after Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Windows. The 2.5D fighting game was developed by Arc System Works and features characters from across Marvel Comics.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls uses a four-character tag-team system in which the team shares a single health bar. Matches begin with one active fighter and an assist character, while players must complete objectives during battles, including triggering environmental stage transitions, to unlock the remaining members of their squad.

The upcoming maintenance is therefore aimed at addressing some of the technical issues affecting the PC version, with performance, stability, lag and frame drops among the areas specifically mentioned by the developers.
