Marvel’s Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition Listed On Amazon UK
Marvel’s Spider-Man is getting a new retail release with a Game of the Year edition. This listing was spotted over at Amazon UK and doesn’t have a release date.
Marvel’s Spider-Man has ended up becoming the fastest-selling exclusive for Sony Interactive Entertainment. It has sold through 13.2 million copies as of July 28, 2019. This is within one year of the game’s launch making it an impressive number all around.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently confirmed that they have now acquired Insomniac Games, who are the developers for Marvel’s Spider-Man. They will now continue to work on Ratchet and Clank and a potential sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Amazon UK has listed a game of the year edition for Marvel’s Spider-Man. This is basically a brand new retail release for the game that is likely going to contain the post-launch updates and DLC episodes in one package. This listing is currently available to view at Amazon UK but doesn’t have any box art for now.
There were three DLC episodes released for the game since its launch back in September. They were a part of the season pass “The City That Never Sleeps” that also added around nine more costumes. Insomniac Games has also released multiple post-launch updates for the game that brings new content including additional costumes.

It won’t be surprising to see this game of the year edition officially confirmed in the next few days and it is likely going to be sold as a full-priced retail release judging from similar games in the past. It remains to be seen if this edition has all content on the disc or if they have to be download by redeeming codes on the PlayStation Store.
