Furthermore, two months earlier, Aaron H., former Art Director on Marvel’s Wolverine at Insomniac Games, had also departed from the studio to work on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.

The departure of two key developers working on Marvel’s Wolverine suggests that their work on the game is likely complete, and that it is further into development than previously expected. Perhaps Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games will have a gameplay reveal at the next PlayStation Showcase or State of Play alongside a release window. The studio is known for completing work in its games in a timely manner.

It was revealed in CD Projekt’s financial report for the first quarter of the year 2024 that, as of April 30, 2024, a vast majority of the development team at the studio is working on the next title in The Witcher series. The project is internally referred to as Polaris. Meanwhile, over 50 developers are working on Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, and nearly 40 are working on Project Sirius. The latter is a multiplayer spin-off set in The Witcher universe that was rebooted late in 2023.
