Neverness to Everness will receive the second half of Version 1.4 on October 21, adding playable character Akane Rin, a new school festival story, and a collaboration featuring the anime song God knows. Developer Hotta World and publisher Perfect World also confirmed anniversary rewards, including 2 million Fons and a new outfit for Akane Rin.
Akane Rin joins the playable roster as a guitarist who works part-time at Livehouse StarSign. The character was previously an Anomaly Hunter, and the update will explore her past. She will arrive with three outfits, including the House Special outfit, which players can claim as part of the game’s half-year anniversary celebrations.
Akane’s musical interests also feature in gameplay. Players will be able to take out her guitar and perform while exploring Hethereau, the game’s open world.
The update introduces a new school festival story featuring The Whoots!!!!. Players can reunite with the band as its members prepare for another performance. The group will also perform God knows as part of a special collaboration, with the story allowing players to catch up with the characters and follow their latest activities.
To celebrate the game’s six-month anniversary, players can claim 2 million Fons and Akane Rin’s House Special outfit when the update launches on October 21. These rewards follow the first half of Version 1.4, which introduced 20 Solid Dice through the seven-day Circle Gifts login event and a separate version update gift.
The Puka Membership Program is also available to players who reach City Tycoon Level 16. Its rewards include two S-Class Standard Character Selection Boxes, one S-Class Standard Arc Selection Box, and three outfits.
The first half of Version 1.4 launched on September 30, adding playable character Blackbird, the Pukaland theme park, and new Anomaly Commissions. The update also introduced a Porsche collaboration featuring the Porsche 911 Turbo (930), Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package, and returning Porsche 918 Spyder.
Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 Part 2 launches on October 21 for PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Mac, with cross-platform support.
