New Street Fighter 6 Theory Fuels More Speculation About Tifa DLC Appearance

by Ali Haider

A new discovery in Street Fighter 6 is adding more fuel to ongoing rumors that Final Fantasy VII character Tifa Lockhart could appear as part of the game’s Season 4 DLC roster.

The latest theory was shared online by FGC Content Creator Moonsault Slayer, who pointed to a detail found in a recent World Tour avatar mode trailer. According to the post, Ingrid’s boss battle is labeled “Visitors from Another World,” a phrase Capcom previously used during collaborations involving Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy.

The wording has led some fans to speculate that Capcom may already be teasing another Final Fantasy crossover tied to Street Fighter 6’s upcoming DLC plans.

The new theory follows earlier rumors claiming Tifa could join Street Fighter 6 Season 4 alongside returning fighters Vega, Haggar, and Gouken. The original leak reportedly came from a user known as Rnk_Clan, who has previously been associated with accurate information regarding earlier DLC characters, including Terry Bogard before his official reveal.

The claims gained additional attention after another user on ResetEra suggested Tifa’s inclusion aligned with information they had also heard. “All I will say is Tifa is correct fron what Ive heard,” the poster stated.

Despite the growing speculation, Capcom has not officially announced any Season 4 DLC characters, and there is currently no confirmation that Tifa or other guest fighters are planned for the roster.

Street Fighter 6 launched in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, later expanding to Nintendo Switch 2 with an updated edition. The game introduced the Drive Gauge combat system alongside World Tour, a large-scale single-player mode featuring avatar customization and explorable environments.
